Lawmakers Confident $1M Bitcoin Will Address Social Security Insolvency By 2032

WASHINGTON D.C. – After decades of steadfastly ignoring an impending Social Security shortfall, a bipartisan chorus of lawmakers is expressing serene confidence that the crisis should be resolved when Bitcoin inevitably reaches $1,000,000 per coin by the year 2032.

The year 2032, highlighted by prominent investors and analysts like Anthony Scaramucci and Plan C as a target date for Bitcoin's ascent to one million dollars per coin, is being embraced by Capitol Hill as a cost-free, politically palatable solution to a problem that has plagued actuaries for generations.

"We've crunched the numbers, and frankly, they look great, given the impending digital asset revolution," stated Senator Miguel Quinlan (R-TX), adjusting his "Stand With Crypto" lapel pin.

"Why bother with unpopular tax hikes or benefit cuts when the distributed ledger technology is clearly on track to generate trillions in unforeseen wealth? We simply need to ride that wave, and everything will sort itself out.

"I'm not normally a gambler, but this seems directionally correct to me... It's a non-interventionist, market-based solution."

Quinlan did not elaborate on how the private wealth generated by Bitcoin's price surge would specifically translate into solvency for the Social Security trust fund, nor did he explain how the government would access or tax this decentralized future wealth.

When pressed, he simply waved a hand dismissively.

"Details, details. The market will provide. This isn't rocket science; it's simply a combination of cryptographic truth and faith in the future."

Across the aisle, Representative Hassan Wojcik (D-CA) echoed similar sentiments, albeit with slightly different phrasing.

"According to figures provided by our friends at Fairshake, projections show that by 2032, not only will Bitcoin be at $1 million, but we'll also be on the cusp of the technological singularity.

"These advancements will fundamentally redefine concepts of labor, wealth, and human longevity, making our current 'shortfall' concerns charmingly anachronistic," Wojcik said, gazing thoughtfully into the distance.

"By 2032, AI agents, powered by bitcoin as pristine collateral, will have solved our most intractable fiscal and political challenges."

Normally known for its inability to agree on anything, the newfound consensus among congressional leaders in Washington has been widely praised by voters.

Laura Fortunato, a West Virginia resident and bitcoin holder commented, "Even if they're not actually doing anything... At least they agree that the the Social Security trust fund has a problem, and that bitcoin will fix it."
